Reeni’s Green Juice

I was recently at a restaurant with a friend, and I ordered a green juice recipe off of the menu.  I was surprised in the fact that she had never tried one before!  She liked it, but it got me thinking about how much I take for granted.  There are some really good green juice recipes out there that are not only tasty, but they are very nutritious.

That is why I decided to share one of my favorite green juice recipes that I use as much as I can!  I urge you to, at the very least, try it!  Like I said, it is very healthy for you and pairs great with any healthy lifestyle!

Reeni’s Green Juice {Yum!}

Ingredients:

1 Green Granny Smith Apple

3 Cups of Kale

1/4 Lemon

1 Cucumber

This recipe is so easy because all you do is juice all the items listed!  Make sure you peel off the lemon peel before you juice 1/4 of it.  Other than that it is easy to make.  If you don’t have a juicer, I recommend getting one!  Here is some more information regarding juicing and why it is something great you can do for your health.

Juice Cleanse- The Miracle Drink

I know that it sounds like a lot!  Taking fruits and veggies, putting them into a juicer, then cleaning up everything.  On my quest to find health, I have found that juicing not only is good (I know you what you are thinking), but it is extremely healthy for you!

Some people have juiced to lose weight, but the bigger picture here is how much it will help your health.  You will feel better, have more energy, and stop craving foods you shouldn’t be eating.

There is some controversy over whether a juice cleanse is healthy or not.  Therefore, I would pick some great juicing recipes and try to juice everday, but also eat whole foods along with your juice each day:)

At first you might experience some “detox symptoms,” but if you stick with it you will feel better in the long run.  Juicing is especially advantageous to someone who is sick.  Whether it be a disease, cancer, or just a common cold this will help your body become stronger. Since we are juicing the fruits and veggies, the nutrients can be absorbed more easily into our body.  This requires less energy from our body to break down the foods so it can focus on healing.
